How does your garden grow? (A visit to Dale Farm)

Visitors reflect on the many beautiful plants by the lake

It was great to be able to visit again Dale Farm Garden near Dereham. This amazing garden was created by Sally and Graham Watts. Throughout the summer season the gardens are open by arrangement for gardening clubs and horticultural societies with one opening for the general public.

It is a feast of colour and when one becomes overwhelmed by all the different plants, one can enjoy the wildlife which gravitates towards the lake.

On a warm summer’s day the small damsel flies and their friends enjoy a snooze – followed by a little exercise.

It is difficult with still pictures to capture the intensity and depth of colour which is found here. But it is an experience not to be missed .

Enjoy the pictures – better still if you are able to – enjoy a visit and the most welcome cup of tea provided for the visitors.

Tempting to try a few abstract views to bring out the colour
