Cromer – the way I see it!
I met a gentleman the other day who seemed to be a little downbeat about the prospect of a visit to Cromer to take photographs. To be fair he wasn’t grumbling, but I got the feeling he wasn’t very excited about the prospect of an evening shoot in the town.
So I began to wonder if double exposures would jolly things along a bit.
With careful use of location and even more careful selection of colours – I reckon parts of the town can be very exciting indeed
Let’s look at the car park – of course you don’t recognise it – but that is where it is.
Boats pulled up on the hard.
The inevitable stroll along the pier.
Even a quick peep underneath it.
This one I titled “the coffee shop” because on one of my visits it was bitterly cold and I purchased a hot coffee from a shop on the prom – as I sat and sipped the welcome brew the wall in front of me rotated in my imagination to this – (must have been something they put in the drink)
So thank you to those who suggested I went to the seaside resort, and thank you to the kind people who allowed me to photograph them. I did reassure one lady that she wouldn’t recognise herself.
