Just Rainbows from Rob Palethorpe

I have enjoyed photography for many years since my parents bought me my Kodak Brownie box camera when I was just ten. My photography has developed somewhat since then and my camera is usually with me enabling me to enjoy recording a multitude of topics.

Being invited to contribute towards ‘IFOTOPHILIA’ presented me with a selection problem but ironically the current issue of Coronavirus and its implications provided the answer.

My grandchildren, like hundreds of other youngsters have all been busy whilst in lockdown creating pictures of rainbows which have of course become the symbol of hope in medical centres throughout the land.

A subject most photographers have welcomed, rainbows always present a challenge.

This selection has been taken locally in Norfolk, in Hereford, in Anglesey and reminding us this is a wider issue, in Tenerife.
