Welcome to Holt Hall – very early in the morning before most people are about.
It is not somewhere the public are usually allowed to go.
The Hall and the grounds are owned by Norfolk County council and managed by an educational trust which gives opportunities for young people to visit the site and discover new skills and interests in a beautiful environment.
We were allowed in one Monday morning before the school arrived to look at the trees, to examine the fungi and, of course to take photographs.
Just a few of the places we roamed
Some interesting corners
And all before 10am
Holt Hall offers courses throughout the year and there are several open days when anyone can wander round. Really worth keeping an eye open for these opportunities.
