Pictures at an Exhibition

Probably not what Mussorgsky had in mind but for those who have not yet visited the exhibition at the St Edmund’s Gallery at Burnham Market you are missing a treat. Not one but nine photographers who meet weekly at Wells Library have put together a selection of images from their portfolios.

The gallery is open each day until Sunday 24th September.

Awaiting first visitors

Many of the photographs now on display as prints were previewed earlier this year on my blog.

See contributions from Andrew Barclay, Anne Johnson, Cecilia Evans, Janet Keymer and Linda Gower.

Don’t panic

In addition there are some very atmospheric pictures from Mary Groombridge – some terrific shots of flowers by Pauline Chapman and amazing compositions of flowers from Rosie Ward.

Early visitors

The St Edmund’s Gallery, which is owned by Cecilia is a light airy setting for the exhibition, very relaxing and eminently suitable for displaying pictures and other ephemera gathered up by the photographers over the past year or so.

Scenes from the private view.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity of North Norfolk this week.
